
Events and Programs:
Missoula Children’s Theatre: (Pictured above) Area youth are cast in a full length musical adventure on Monday and perform the show on Friday and Saturday! Grades K-12. Annually around the first week of April.
Art Fairs: For art vendors. Held during Boss Cowman Celebration the second weekend in July.
Artist Residencies: Artists share their time and talents with the Grand River Community. Recent residency themes have been theatre, Termesphere, and music.
Community Art Socials: A fun way to visit with creative people. Held on a pop up basis.
Creative Classes: Pottery, Wool Spinning, Ukulele Lessons, Songwriting etc. Held on a pop up basis.
Poetry On The Road: GRAC has happily hosted two stops on the POTR tour. POTR is a collaboration between the SD State Poetry Society and the SD Humanities Council.
Art For Life: Art is for everyone in all stages of life! GRAC partners with the Five Counties Nursing Home with funding from the South Dakota Arts Council to bring arts and culture activities to nursing home residents.
Quilt and Needlecraft Show: Annual showcase of area quilting and needlecraft talent! Held the second weekend in July during the Lemmon Boss Cowman Celebration.
Young Artists Hangout: A program for young people created by young people. “YAH” is a regular gathering of young creatives in their teens and twenties. Each session centers around a creative topic or project.
More Than Marching: Grant funded ten event dance workshop and western dance series for military, military connected, and community members. Held September 2024 - February 2025. Made possible by through the NEA Creative Forces Community Challenge grant with matching support from community donations.
Art Shows: Showcasing the talent of area artists. Held on a pop up basis.
